Our History

Ashburn-Sterling Lodge No. 288 began on May 10, 1905 when a group of Master Masons from other local lodges met over a store near a rail-road station – today known as the crossing of W&OD Trail and Ashburn Rd.

District Picnic

Saturday, May 17

A family-friendly event open to all brethren, prospects, candidates, spouses, and children. This is a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship outside the lodge and introduce potential new members to our fraternity. We’re organizing a District Cornhole Competition as a fundraiser. The winner will not only claim the title of District Cornhole Champions but also get to donate the raised funds to a charity of their choice.

District-Wide Table Lodge

Tuesday, August 12

AS288 will host a Table Lodge at the beautiful River Creek Country Club, and we’re opening the event to the entire district and all Master Masons. To make the evening even more impactful, we’ll be turning it into a fundraiser for Loudoun Hunger Relief, giving us a chance to enjoy Masonic tradition while supporting a great cause.
